Let me introduce you to Thieves Fruit and Veggie Soak. You may be thinking – why wash your fruit and veggies? Well do you really know what has happened to your fruit and veggies before you bought them? Who has touched them or worse still who may have coughed or sneezed on them?
Studies show that 80% of all produce has surface pesticide residue. Knowing this – I always wash my veggies with the Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak – which, let me tell you, is way better than anything else I have used including apple cider vinegar.
According to the Environmental Working Group (an organisation of scientists, researchers and policymakers), the most contaminated fruits and vegetables are peaches, strawberries, pears, lettuce, apples, cherries, capsicums, spinach, nectarines, imported grapes, celery and potatoes. Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak offers an easy solution for effectively cleaning large amounts of produce—whether it’s for meal preparation for your family, cooking for a big event or canning fresh garden vegetables.
As a mum I don’t have spare time. So the last thing I want to do is spend a long time cleaning my produce. So that’s why I switched to Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak – it helps remove waxes, harsh chemicals, impurities and surface pesticides from produce in just 2 minutes without leaving behind any cleaner residue or taste!
Check out the difference in the colour of the two halves of the same head of broccoli. I cut a head of broccoli in half and washed half of it in a bowl of water and the other half in a capful of the Thieves fruit and veggie soak in a bowl of water. I am amazed at the colour difference. It really does remove the chemical residue that is sprayed on to our food. You just don’t know how much is on your food until you wash it properly. Water is not enough.
