Do you wake up tired? I used to. I especially used to feel tired at 3 in the afternoon. So when my girls were coming home from school I would be wishing I could have an afternoon nap. Is it just me?⠀
I kept telling myself that I didn’t need to take a supplement. After, all I eat healthy and believe in getting all my vitamins and nutrients from real food. I especially told myself I don’t drink juice as they are all high in sugar and don’t have the fibre to offset this. So for ages I resisted drinking this yummy red goodness as I clearly knew better. ⠀
The end of being so tired
But I finally succumbed and started drinking Ningxia Red. I’m so glad I did. I haven’t looked back since I started drinking it daily a few years ago. I drink between 60-180mls a day depending how I’m feeling. The main ingredient is wolf berries. In Australia we call them goji berries. They’re a super fruit with tonnes of antioxidants (like the highest on the ORAC antioxidant scale). Goji berries are in everything these days from cereal, muesli bars to bliss balls as I think everyone has worked out how good they are.The wolfberry is revered for its unparalleled nutritional profile. This includes zeaxanthin, critical amino acids, polyphenols, polysaccharides, and a distinctive ratio of trace nutrients.
These berries are super high in protein so they actually help fill you up. It’s not even the juice I originally thought it was either. To ensure that you’re not missing out on any of these transformative wolfberry benefits, Young Living uses wolfberry puree instead of juice. That means NingXia Red includes the goodness of the whole berry: the skin, juice, and pulp. If you look closely at this pic, my friend @sassysara took, you can see the pulp settling in the bottom of the bottle where the red colour changes. So there are tonnes of fibre in each bottle too. So careful not to drink too much, if you know what I mean.
What sets Ningxia apart
NingXia Red is also formulated with a dynamic blend of blueberry, plum, sweet cherry, aronia, and pomegranate juices, plus grape seed extract, vanilla, and stevia, which help give it its vibrant taste and colour. What really sets NingXia Red apart is its blend of Orange, Tangerine, Lemon, and rare Yuzu essential oils, contributing to NingXia Red’s delicious flavour. It’s made by the same company I get my essential oils from so the 4 different citrus essential oils are the best quality you can get. These essential oils are high in D-Limonene. D-Limonene is a powerful component in certain essential oils – another thing we can all benefit from to keep us healthy.
NingXia Red is free of high-fructose sweeteners, unlike most energy drinks on the market. Instead the goji berries and other fruits give it the sweet taste. Goji berries have 19 of the 20 essential amino acids we need. Including 9 which the body can’t make itself and we need to get it from food. I don’t know much about these but guys who go to the gym tell me this is a great reason to drink it. All I know is that it tastes great, my girls will drink it and I no longer feel tired. When I walk around town with a bottle of it taking a swig I get weird glances. I don’t know why this is 🤣🤣🤣.
