No nasty ingredients
If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’re familiar with the “dirty dozen.” If not, it’s basically research that has been done specific to baby products. Many baby washes and shampoos will contain SLS or SLES’s because they are used as a cleansing agent in personal care products. It’s the yucky stuff that makes all those products foam up and makes us think we are getting clean!
Anyways, I wanted to point out to you that these yucky ingredients are a form of sulfur that is completely synthetic and man-made! Not to mention that most baby products contain PEG’s and fragrance. Two other ingredients you want to be avoiding using on your baby.
Before I joined Young Living I was blind to the fact that companies are not legally required to disclose the individual products used to produce fragrance. Therefore many fragrance ingredients that are harmful can be omitted from the label! That’s SCARY!
And tear-free?! You better believe that’s a numbing agent because whatever they’re using to make those fragrances is NOT okay for those little eyes!

I was really surprised at how many bad ingredients are in most of the baby wash you find on the shelves. Which of the key things above do you love the most about this body wash?
I would like to include that the average ph levels of bleach are 11-13. Skin care products ph should be 5.5 to leave the bodys ph undisturbed. The most common baby wash sold on the market is 10.25. THAT IS INSANE. Soap for children should not exceed 7.
Bath Time!

It leaves the skin and hair clean, soft and smooth without over-drying. It smooths hair and makes tangles easy to comb out!!
Directions for using the Seedlings Baby Wash and Shampoo
Wet hair and skin with warm water. Apply a small amount of the Seedlings baby Wash and Shampoo to a moistened washcloth or hand and gently lather over entire body and scalp.

Seedlings Baby Wash and Shampoo Hack
Just like the Young Living shampoos, foaming hand soap, laundry liquid and dish soap you can actually dilute this product so it goes a lot further. I like to make 3 bottle out of one by pouring out 2/3 of the bottle into a glass jar and storing it away for later. I then top up the remaining 2/3 of the Seedlings Baby Wash and Shampoo bottle with distilled water. I like to use distilled water as there are no bugs in it which can cause my Seedlings Baby Wash and Shampoo to go off.
Is the Bergamot Furocoumarin Free?
Bergamot essential oil is photosensitive. However the Bergamot essential oil used in the Seedlings Calm Blend and all of the Seedlings Range is Furocoumarin free (also known as bergaptene-free). The Bergamot essential oil is re-distilled to remove the waxes, including bergaptene which cause it to be photosensitive. After distillation, the oil is safer to use on the skin.
