Peace & Calming II – 5ml Essential Oil | Young Living Australia

Do you have trouble switching your mind off, especially at night when you are tying to go to sleep? I definitely do.
My mind races thinking about all the things I’ve got to do and worrying about even the littlest of things.
Apart from keeping a notebook by my bed and writing down my to do list, the other little tip I use is the essential oil blend, Peace and Calming. I love the smell of this blend of Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Blue Tansy.
However recently it was out of stock for nearly the whole year because there were issues with the Blue Tansy crop. When plants can’t be produced that year, you can’t just make the essential oils in a lab, you have to wait till the next season for the plants to grow again.
My reserves of this precious oil blend dried up and I simply couldn’t live without it, so I tried the replacement “Peace & Calming II. I was really reluctant at first, as it felt like I was somehow being a traitor to my much loved Peace and Calming and I didn’t want to be disappointed. Change is hard sometimes.
Eventually I had to come to the party and I was surprised. Peace & Calming II was just as good as the original.
It contains some of the same essential oils such as Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli but with the edition of Black Spruce, German Chamomile, Vetitver, Cistus, Bergamot, Cassia and Davana. Even writing this I am imagining their heavenly smell.

How to Use Peace & Calming II

There are many ways you can use either of the awesome Peace & Calming blends and here are ten of my favs:
  1. 3-5 drops in my diffuser at night. I start the diffuser before I hop in to bed so it permeates the room.
  2. I add 4 drops to some castile liquid soap or unscented bath gel and pop it in to the bath.
  3. Make up a 10ml roller bottle with 2-10 drops of either blend to help calm children. Just roll it on their feet.
  4. I make up my own roller bottles and pop it on my wrists, neck, or scarf to help you remain calm and smell amazing throughout the day.
  5. I put a drop on my diffuser necklace or even a diffuser lava bracelet and I breathe in he subtle aroma all day long.
  6. Place a drop on a hanky and put inside my pillowcase.
  7. Dilute with carrier oil such as Young Living’s V6 Vegetable complex and use as relaxing massage oil.
  8. Add a few drops to bath gel and warm water for a soothing foot soak after a hard day.
  9. Then massage onto reflex points on feet for relaxation. Even better if you can get someone else to do this for you.
  10. Place a few drops in to some bicarb and sprinkle on to carpets, leave and then vacuum up to create a lovely scent in your carpet.

Other Uses for Peace & Calming II 

  • Dilute and apply to feet, crown of head, back of neck, behind ears, or inside wrists to encourage relaxation.
  • Add a few drops to your night-time moisturiser to help moisturise and beautify the appearance of skin.
  • Diffuse to create a calming and comforting atmosphere.
  • Complementary essential oil blends include: Peace & Calming, Stress Away, and Release.
  • Place a drop on your pillowcase before bed.

Topical: Dilute with V-6™ Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex and apply to desired area as needed.

Aromatic: Diffuse up to 1 hour 3 times daily.
