I don’t know how to run a business
You don’t have to. There is only really 3 things you need to be successful.
- A love of these amazing products so you can share your passion for them with other people. People don’t the products based on facts about ingredients. They buy on your recommendation. If you are enthusiastic and passionate about something then that comes across and others want what you are having. You remember the scene in the diner from the movie, When Harry Met Sally – “Ill have what she is having”.
- Secondly you have to follow up with people to show them that you care about them and want to help them. People don’t buy because of what you know but because of how much you care. Build relationships rather than sales. Think of this business like a garden. You plant the seeds and some come up immediately which is great. Some however needs lots of watering and fertiliser (organic of course). For some people it will take a lot of support and care before they will want what you are having. Don’t give up though. I’ve had seeds sprout years after they were planted. And just like a garden keep records of the seeds you planted and where. It helps to check that patch of earth occasionally to see if it has sprouted before you mow over it.
- Thirdly you’ll need to teach other people the first two steps so they can then go on and teach others to do the same. It is that simple.
