Buy Young Living Blush or Bronzer?

Blush and Bronzer… aren’t they just different names for the same product?

Firstly, I’ll let you in on a little secret. As celebrity makeup artist, Bob Scott, says, “Bronzer is basically blush, but blush is not bronzer. Blush should be used to add warmth to the cheeks, while bronzer is used specifically to make you look tanned.”

So, while I use bronzer to give my face more of a tanned look or to contour and make my face look slimmer, I wouldn’t use a blush to do either of these jobs. Instead, I use blush to give colour to my cheeks. But, yes – you can use a bronzer to do this too.

Directions for use

• For best results, apply with a brush. Then, after applying foundation, sprinkle a small amount of blush onto its jar lid. Dip the brush into the lid to pick up the powder, then lightly tap the brush handle against the side of the lid to remove the excess.
• Finally, apply blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend outward, along the cheekbone toward the temples. The image below shows you where to apply, depending on your face shape.
• Build colour gradually to avoid over-application.

Directions
